Hi guys! It's been a year and I've overhauled my portfolio, relaunched my website and been on some fun adventures this year. I've moved onto Squarespace which has it's own blogging platform so I'll be transferring over there. You can keep up to date with projects on the blog at the new and improved www.lauramanns.com
Hope to see you there!

Kids' Bedroom Mural
I just completed this kids' bedroom wall mural for a brother and sister who I used to babysit for.
It's a picture of their pet dog and cat, Ursula and Mo. Please contact me if you would like a custom mural spot for your child's room! This one measures about 4ft in diameter.

Butterfly Display Cases
I spread about 300 butterflies to go in a series of cases that will hang in a private event space
in the Meatpacking district. My very talented friend Jason built the custom cases.

Making Christmas Windows part 2: NYC
We made windows for Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord and Taylor, and Build a Bear Workshop over in midtown. I had so much fun building a giant king kong for one of the NYC themed fairytale windows.
Below is a glimpse of the build for the Lord and Taylor windows. There was much building and tiling of tiny CNC'ed houses. Zoe and I had to figure out how to make branches which were attached to a wall, but could also break apart along four seams where the walls separate for transportation purposes.
SO MANY ICICLES TO GLUE!!!!!!!
Ok so I had to turn this bobcat form into a house cat. I've made weirder.

Making Christmas Windows part 1: São Paolo
I've been making Christmas since it was hot and sunny outside in June! I worked at Spaeth Design this season in their prop department, on windows for malls in São Paulo and Chile (my old stomping grounds!), and NYC.
