Making Christmas Windows part 2: NYC
We made windows for Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord and Taylor, and Build a Bear Workshop over in midtown. I had so much fun building a giant king kong for one of the NYC themed fairytale windows.
Below is a glimpse of the build for the Lord and Taylor windows. There was much building and tiling of tiny CNC'ed houses. Zoe and I had to figure out how to make branches which were attached to a wall, but could also break apart along four seams where the walls separate for transportation purposes.
SO MANY ICICLES TO GLUE!!!!!!!
Ok so I had to turn this bobcat form into a house cat. I've made weirder.

Making Christmas Windows part 1: São Paolo
I've been making Christmas since it was hot and sunny outside in June! I worked at Spaeth Design this season in their prop department, on windows for malls in São Paulo and Chile (my old stomping grounds!), and NYC.

The following photos are some of the things I made for Morumbi Shopping Center in Brazil:
Zoe and I built a table that joints together!
Giant foam bows that Ricola and I assembled by cutting up foam sheets
Rigged up a lil mouse to stand up with a wire armature inside, and tiny presents!!

CMA
I started working at the Children's Museum of the Arts in early November as a Teaching Artist! I've been teaching partnership programs offsite, as well as camps and classes onsite, focusing on stop motion animation, illustration and clay sculpture.
I'm occasionally at the clay bar where sometimes on slow days Jenn and I make Beetlejuice things...
